The 2009 Everyday Hero Award
Presented by the Community Collaborations Council

Ten years ago, a community collaborative was formed, comprised of several different community organizations that share a commitment to improving the lives of children and families in Houston. We gather each year with a luncheon and forum that inspires and educates individuals on an important and relevant facet of family life in our area.

In addition to providing an educational forum, the Community Collaborations Council honors an individual who has made a significant contribution to the advancement of children and/or their lives with the Everyday Hero Award.
