HAAEYC Scholarships
HAAEYC encourages and supports professional growth. The purpose of HAAEYC's Scholarship Fund is to assist members in the pursuit of professional growth.
Teachers, directors, administrators, and family day home providers may apply for professional growth scholarships, CDA scholarships, college class scholarships, and conference/training scholarships. These scholarships are available to current affiliate members in HAAEYC who have been employed in a licensed facility continuously for a minimum of one year. Applicants will need to provide a letter of interest stating purpose and need for the scholarship, two letters of professional recommendation, and the scholarship application. If applicant is awarded the scholarship, he/she must agree to furnish a report to the scholarship committee.
Scholarships are also available for child care facilities that are in the process of seeking NAEYC accreditation. Funds are available for materials and support in the accreditation process. Child care facilities must be licensed and the director/owner must be a current affiliate member of HAAEYC. A one-page statement of need/benefits and two letters of recommendation from early childhood professionals outside the facility are also required along with the application. Application for any of these scholarships does not guarantee receipt of funds.
